Located in Arthurs Creek on Melbourne’s north-eastern fringe, this fifth-generation family orchard has been growing fruit since 1912.
Visitors driving the Harvest Trail can call into the roadside huts at Arthurs Creek (open 7 days) or Kinglake West (open Fri until sold out) to pick up fresh apples and pears.
At advertised times during the year, Apteds also opens the orchard for seasonal Pick Your Own experiences and ticketed events. These special openings give families the chance to spend time among the trees, pick apples, pears and cherries at their freshest, and experience the sights and rhythms of a genuine working orchard.
Apteds fruit can also be ordered online for local home delivery or found at Eltham Farmers Market every Sunday.
Orchard access is available during advertised openings only. Visit the Apteds Orchards website to see what’s currently available and plan a visit around upcoming Pick Your Own dates and seasonal events.
