Last year saw Rotary host four guests from district 7090 (Ontario) for a cross industry vocational tour where they were shown around the Goulburn Valley and other areas looking at planting systems, pack houses, market delivery and harvest methods.
This year the Rotary District 9790 has selected four people who they believe will greatly benefit from the trip and enhance the knowledge bases they already have.
The trip is aimed for early summer and Elizabeth is very excited "I know this when the bugs are most busy".
The group will be looking at current research facilities, markets, multiple planting systems and packhouses.
Elizabeth and the group will also be given the opportunity to present information about the Goulburn Valley and the local industry and current issues being faced.
This is an amazing opportunity for Elizabeth and all involved "I am very proud to have been invited to represent the industry, FGV, GV Crop and our IPM Systems.".
We be sure to get a report from Elizabeth on her trip when she returns.
