A special invitation to you to attend

Regional Innovation Forum
‘Delivering innovation through the horticulture supply chain'
Wednesday, May 18th (9:00am - 12:45pm)

The Horticulture Centre of Excellence has developed a forum program that explores innovation through the horticultural supply chain, supporting participants to think about continuous improvement in their own business and across the industry.   We have based this year's program on industry feedback. The 2016 program is aimed thinking about change and the  opportunities to take new actions that can transform and/or reorganise the business to be more market focus and competitive. The Forum will be held at the Horticulture Centre of Excellence, DEDJTR, 255 Ferguson Road, Tatura, Victoria  (includes morning tea and lunch) and features Agriculture Victoria researchers and speakers across three themes: Market-Led Innovation, Innovation along the Supply Chain and a Panel of Innovation Program Leaders.

Post-Forum Satellite Meeting
Industry-Community-LGA Collaboration to Manage Fruit Fly
Wednesday, May 18th (1:30pm - 3:00pm)

For the first time, we will also be holding a post forum satellite meeting focussing on understanding the social and institutional aspects of fruit fly management. We are delighted to be able to bring social researchers from CSIRO, the Horticulture Innovation Australia SITPlus Consortium and Plant Biosecurity CRC to share their latest findings on how best to make area wide management work when there are strong dependencies on the broader community involvement.  This meeting is a must for regional pest management committees, local government, regional agencies such as water authorities, CMAs and community groups.

The flier for speakers and forum program can be viewed at http://www.hin.com.au/news-and-events/events/regional-innovation-forum-delivering-innovation-through-the-horticulture-supply-chain  and also attached below and provides details of the terrific line up we have arranged for the day.
