Emissions Reduction Fund Briefing Sessions on 17 November.

Briefing sessions on the Emissions Reduction Fund (the Fund) will be held in Numurkah on the 17^th of November.

The briefings will be presented by staff from the Commonwealth Department of the Environmentand will be opened by Dr. Sharman Stone, MP. They are a chance for you to explore how you could participate in the Fund, ask questions and discuss issues specific to your sector. This is also an opportunity for you to make key industry and government contacts for dealing with the Fund in the future.

Sector-specific sessions will be held on Tuesday 17^th of November as below. 

Session 1:  The Emissions Reduction Fund: Opportunities for the Land Sector 

This session will provide an introduction to the Emissions Reduction Fund for landholders, land care groups and groups or individuals interested in carbon farming. 

• Time: 9.00am – 11.00am

Session 2: The Emissions Reduction Fund: Opportunities for Industry and business

This session will provide an introduction to the Emissions Reduction Fund with a focus on energy efficiency opportunities including the treatment of waste products.
