Mildura Study Tour

In July 2024, FGV organized a 3-day study tour to Mildura. 

The 3 days included visiting a number of innovative and high-quality almond and citrus orchards.  The purpose of the trip was to network and gain knowledge from other growers on orchard drainage management systems, flood recovery & resilience, fruit processing and export programs.

Leaf & Soil Analysis

Fruit Growers Victoria grower members were offered up to $600 worth soil and leaf nutrient analysis tests for free. The project conducted soil and leaf analysis tests in 20 selected orchards. This will help the growers in improve nutrient and trace element management in their orchards for the next season.
